First call people can’t hear me, seconds works

Whenever I take or receive a phone call, the person the other end of the line cannot hear me. I can hear them fine. Once the call is hung up and a second call is undertaken. Everything works fine.

I am on Smarty mobile (Three) and have tried the sim in 3 separate iPhones, 6s, SE and 14 Pro max (current) same situation to all phones, so the issue is either a network or Apple specific issue as also tried a Huawei Phone and no problems.

I have reset all network settings on all phones, hard restarted, and turned data roaming on and off. Any further ideas ?

When you contact your carrier, make sure that:

Your account is set up to use your iPhone.
There aren't any localized service outages.
Your account doesn't have a billing-related block.
Your calls don't have errors on the carrier system.

Update your software
