Factory Reset
How do I run a Factory Reset on my MacBook Pro 15" w/Retina (mid-2012)?
Yes, it's still running great, but I need to get the keyboard replaced since a few keys have started sticking and a couple keys have broken clips on the keys (Caps Lock, Shift, H, N M, A, etc.)
For now, I have just been using an external Apple peripheral keyboard and use the laptop on my desk like a desktop. Also hooked with a large new monitor! Works great! It's just not handy when I want to be "mobile" with it and only want to take the laptop and no other peripherals. I haven't had any other problems with it since 2012! I love it!
Now, I have to ship it out -of-state to an authorized repair place.
I have already done a backup to an external hard drive, but they are asking me to do a Factory Reset before it ships.
Can you please provide Step-by-Steps?
