Hey everyone— I made a new Lock Screen once i updated to iOS 16 to take advantage of the new features, but used an image as my wallpaper that I’ve been using for a while. For some reason when i set it as my Lock Screen wallpaper it gets totally desaturated and the colors aren’t vibrant anymore. There’s no filter engaged either. Anyone have the same problem, or a fix?

Following those steps, do you see the same behavior with another image you select to put on the Lock Screen? How does it look if you use the same image on the Home Screen?
Also, are you using Dark Mode on your iPhone? Use Dark Mode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

I followed the steps in the guide you sent and the image still gets desaturated. It also appears desatured if I set it as the Home Screen image. I attempted it with a different photo and, as best I can tell, it did not desaturate the photo, weirdly.
I am not using Dark Mode.
On a weird note--the Lock Screen background that was imported from my phone pre-iOS 16 upgrade looks fine! But I can't change the font of the clock or add any widgets to that, hence why I attempted to create a new Lock Screen background. (See below)

If it only happens with one image, it may be something isolated to that image when used as a Wallpaper. This can happen.
