Messages deleting in mac not deleting in iphone. I have enabled all the required settings. Both devices are on same wifi, same icloud account, icloud drive for messages is enabled, enable messages icloud in mac is enabled. Please help regarding this.

On the phone, try going to Settings/Your Name/iCloud and turn Messages syncing off. Restart the phone. Go back to iCloud and turn Messages syncing on.
On the Mac, go to Messages/Preferences/iMessage, and turn Enable Messages in iCloud off. Quit Messages and restart the computer. Go back to Messages/Preferences and Enable Messages in iCloud.
Yeah I had been trying all of that and nothing worked. I had a hunch that this was because of the new "recently deleted" folder of iOS 16 not existing in the messages app of Mavericks. I ended up downloading and installing the most recent beta build of Ventura as it does have the recently deleted functionality in its messages app, and now messages are deleting on both devices correctly.
Seems like the only solution is to download the beta of Ventura or wait to the full release next month! Still seems like an oversight on Apple's part regardless though.
I'm having the same issue - deleting on iPhone deletes from both devices but deleting from mac only deletes on the mac and leaves the message on iPhone untouched.
