How do I change the Fitness calendar to correctly start the first day of the week as Sunday? Clearly, Monday as the first day of the week is a glitch or an error as in the west we use the Gregorian calendar. I don't see any option to change this.

Well, that is all very nice but we are not in Europe and we don't follow that standard here. Sunday is the first day of the week in the US. Other countries of the world have different start days for the first day of the week and or have entirely different calendars. There should be an option to adjust what the first day of the week is based on which part of the world you are in.

The fact that a country uses the Gregorian calendar doesn't preclude the week starting on Monday. In fact, the International Standards Organization sets Monday as the first day of the week. For example, most of Europe, which uses the Gregorian calendar, starts the week on Monday.
But no, you can't change it.
