Temperature tracking not working.

Sleep focus is on and I’ve been wearing Apple Watch 8 while sleeping for about 12 days now all night and it still says “no data” under temperature. I made sure that under privacy on watch settings that temperature is on. What else can I do? All other sleep data shows up.

I fixed it. I had a sleep schedule set up and a sleep focus set up but I didn’t have the sleep focus schedule to automatically turn on during my sleep cycle. Please make sure you have this button turned on in settings under focus - sleep focus - schedule.

Ok. So seems like a coincidence! Didn’t work last night. Interestingly it worked the first night I wore the watch and the first night after getting the new phone. Maybe the “new thing” shunts it??!!! As you can see, it has only worked on a few nights between getting it and today. There is no discernible reason for this!

Yup - that is pretty much my conclusion. After trying various scenarios, routines etc it seems hit and miss. Since the 7th December I've had readings on 7th,9th,10th,11th and nothing since! If there is a common factor as to when it does and doesn't work, it isn't jumping out at me.

I did add a comment to my open case with Apple yesterday but they haven't called me since to give an update.

I think that’s also my issue too but for me it’s after it automatically sets sleep mode and I take it out of sleep mode until I go to sleep then I manually put it on sleep mode. It still takes itself out of sleep mode in the morning according to the schedule but I think it only tracks temperature if it follows the complete schedule. Mabe someone could advise?

My wrist temperature is not working. I have tightened the watch band, worn my watch consistently and ensures it’s fully charged. It appears it last pulled that information back in November, nothing since. It shows it will be avail after 3 more nights, but those three nights have come and gone and it’s still not available, is there something else I need to do fix that functionality?

I have done everything required and after more than 15 days wearing my apple watch ultra has only measured day 1 and there is where it stays. It keeps saying need more data. I have made it tighter around the wrists, changed it from to to bottom of wrist and even changed arms- nothing works. I am starting to think it does not actually have the functionality!!
