Why wouldn’t Apple be able to increase the size of video clip sizes that can be shared via SMS like we can with WhatsApp?

WhatsApp does not use Cellular Voice channels like SMS and MMS do, it uses WiFi or Cell Data just like iMessage does. And all of the phone makers can suggest it but it is up to the cell service carriers. And there are also hardware/software limitations that would have to be overcome.
Because SMS and MMS are under the purview of cell service providers and they set the size limits.
I wish Apple would push them to increase the size
so how does WhatsApp get around this ?
would Apple be able to switch them to iMessage when ever the phone providers are blocking the letters clips?
Why couldn’t apple make it in a way that it would switch to Cell data or WiFi immediately when a video clip file is over a certain size that the cellular channel would not supoort?
Because that is not how SMS/MMS works, it is designed to use cell voice.
Then why is it that I can SMS to my group that have all phone any size file video clip but can’t send the same one to a group that has even one none Apple phone in it ???
I have no idea, why don't you call your cell service provider and ask them what their limits are?
