Thank you for the information.
This printer model appears to be almost twenty years old, but some drivers are still available from the manufacturer.

Are you using the latest printer driver?
Please note that somewhat different drivers/software may be offered in different regions.
If necessary, try resetting the printing system.

Is it possible to print a test page directly from the printer, without a connected computer?

OK, we now know that the printer as such seems to be working as it should. The original driver CD contains too old printer drivers (if installed, remove them), so you would need to download the latest from one of the above Epson sites. After that, try a printing system reset, and then add the printer using the new driver.
Also, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) before testing anything.
Always download from an official web site of Epson. There are several third-party "support sites" on the Internet with similar names, so be careful.
i still have the original driver cd
i ran a printer test page directly from the printer without a connected computer & it worked fine.
i "added" the printer to my printer list.
looks like i may have to reset the printing program on my mac to try to solve the problem.
Hi,
First of all, it is important to know the exact printer make and model.
Also, are you using the MacBook Air 13" and macOS 12.6 (Monterey) in your profile?
How is the printer connected?
Please post back with this information.
epson stylus photo R300
