Alternative to bootcamp

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro model that bootcamp isn't supported. Is there an alternative that I can install in order to get windows?

Bootcamp assistant cannot be used. this mac does not support boot camp WHY?? and how can i make it work? why would/could it not work?!? I can't install Windows on my MacBook Pro as this article suggests I have an older MacBook Pro v5,2 that I'm trying to use BootCamp to install Windows. I can not get BootCamp assistant to recognize either a pre-formatted internal drive partition or an external USB/SATA drive partitioned for FAT32. It keeps telling me it needs an external drive with a single partition for FAT. It does!! I even tried dowloading a WIN 10 installer ".iso" disk image onto the external drive (from a different machine), but can't find a way to run that image setup.exe from the Mac. I'm in a circular trial-&-error mode and BootCamp simply does not want to work for me! TIA for any help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You can sign up for the Microsoft Windows ARM Insider Program and use Parallels to run the pre-release version of Windows ARM.

But I would not use a pre-release version of an operating system in other than a test-only environment.

Another option would be to try running the Intel version of Windows on the M1 Mac by using the third party app UTM which is a machine emulator & virtualizer. However, performance will be reduced since UTM must mimic an Intel CPU in addition to acting as a Virtual Machine. For some workloads this may be fine, for others it will likely prove insufficient.
