Safari extensions are greyed out on iPhone

Safari extensions are greyed out on iPhone.

After the installing the last security update for iOS 15 (15.6.1), I cannot enable Safari extensions. They are greyed out. Not only that, but I cannot clear history and website data either. That option is also greyed out. I have already restarted the phone several times.

iPhone 7, iOS 15

Hello Jaime,

It sounds like either Screen Time or a MDM profile is preventing your access to managing Safari data.

Are you using a work or school device? If so, there may be a profile preventing you from managing Safari data. You can check by tapping Settings > General > Profile & Device Management: Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple Support

If unrelated to a profile, then check if Screen Time is causing the behavior by temporarily disabling the feature if it is enabled. To do so on iPhone, tap Settings > Screen Time > Turn Off Screen Time.

Let us know if that helps.

Kind regards.
