iPhone 13 Mini
@sberman did save my day. Although I would like to point out few things:
1) It was a brand new phone bought today (iPhone 13 Mini)
2) It was iOS16.
3) Yes I was able to delete the Clock app. (Yeah I know its such a basic / fundamental functionality app)
Yep! Exactly on mine as well. Teaches me to "trust" a year old Apple Support article which was referenced at the beginning of this post. It did not include the Clock app as being delete-able. Thanks again.
Hmm, according to Apple, you cannot delete the Clocks app on an iPhone running iOS 14 or later. Not sure how you were able to accomplish this ... and, you're right, it's not available at the Apple App Store.
What have you tried, so far yourself, to resolve this ... other than looking for it and trying the App Store so that we don't offer potential solutions that may not have already worked for you?
Per chance, is this iPhone jailbroken?

Maybe this explains the anomaly:
My iPad running iPadOS 15.7 does not allow deleting the Clock app. It can be removed from the Home Screen, but not the App Library.
The article hasn’t been updated since iOS 16’s release. I imagine the behavior change occurred then, and we’ll see it on the iPad with iPadOS 16.

Here’s what I see (iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.0.2):
Yikes! Missed that one. Thanks for chiming in with the answer.
Thanks sberman..!! This saved my day. It was available in the Indian store too.
I’m just reciprocating all the help you’ve given me and others in the past.
Ah, excellent! By the way, for future reference when deleting Apple apps, the App Store search I performed was “Apple Clock”.
Enjoy your new iPhone.
Yup you're correct. All references in Apple says its un-delete-able.
