How do I delete a pin? Maps in Monterey 12.6 doesn't have any way of deleting an existing pin. Control Clicking doesn't bring up a popup with a remove or delete option. There is no Remove Pin in the edit menu either.

You can remove a pin that you drop 
on your Mac, scroll in the map to show the location you marked with a pin.control/right clicking on a dropped pin should bring a menu. It should also be listed in the sidebar under Recents.

Just did, no difference. These pins are many years old and probably aren't being handled correctly by this version of maps. It's seeing them as something that it can't delete. I think I'd have to blow Maps prefs away to fix the problem and I really don't want to do that, since there are only a half dozen of the pesky things.
I get the popup menu, but it doesn't have the "Remove Pin" Entry.
That doesn't look like a dropped pin.
What I mean is, it looks like you are clicking on the symbol with the star inside, not the pin.
If I click on one of the symbols marked on the map, I get the same menu…
