Cant remove pin from Apple Maps

Aw that worked !

I had no "Guides" and when I clicked it asked me to create one.

I created one and then when I got back on the Guides section, I had my newly created guide and another one named "All Places" that contained the guilty pin.

That was absolutely not user friendly

Similar to EdouardGat, but on macOS:

I clicked the problem pin, then the three dots in the pop-up and selected Add to guide > New guide...

Then in the sidebar under the newly created Guide I deleted the pin and it FINALLY disappeared on the map too.

I also deleted the Guide but I assume if you already have Guides you could probably just add the nuisance pin to any of them, then simply delete it.

Good afternoon All, after poking around a lot, I discovered that an OS 17, if you look at favorites in maps and touch the word more, it brings up the favorites as a list. Then swipe left, and the magic delete button comes right up, and they’re gone!!

All my old starred pins were sitting in the Guides folder. you can see the Guides folder by clicking your avatar next to the Search bar (iOS 16.6) I could finally delete the pins from there 🙂

I added my unwanted PINs as Favorites. Then pulled up Favorites and deleted all of them.

I have tried everything on here & the dropped pins with the star just won’t go away, I don’t know if there’s anything anyone else recommends, anything would help. Please!!

Pin removal in Apple Maps for iOS 17 is still a problem. The Remove button doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
