Software update taking forever
Setting up a new iphone13 - should I persist with software update iOS 16 - it's taking hours. Should I abandon it and lose all that downloading I've done

We see that you were having some issues installing iOS 16 and we want to help if you're still not having any luck. We do recommend installing iOS 16 on your iPhone 13 so if you're not able to install that update, it would be a good idea to run through the troubleshooting steps here: If your iPhone or iPad won't update - Apple Support
Be sure to try the steps under the section titled "Remove and download the update again".
