I have just updated to Monterey and my MacBook Air won’t accept my password for iCloud
I have just updated to Monterey but my MacBook Air won’t accept my password (which I have just changed) for iCloud. What can I do?

How do I know if Monterey has been successfully installed? Is it safe to close down my computer to see if it will reboot to see if it will then accept my Apple ID password for two-factor authentification?
Got to the menu at the top left and select About this Mac. You should be able to shutdown and reboot.
