How do I turn off do not disturb in email when focus filter is not applied?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are not getting notification for Mail even when Focus is not enabled, do we have that right? Are notifications enabled for the Mail app?

1. Go to Settings > Notifications
2. Tap Mail
3. Select the Alert style, Banner Style, and Sound you prefer
