Screen on iMac streaked and jumping and impossible to read

Is this a hardware issue or is there a programming fix? Everything I'm reading relates to a MacBook, not an iMac.

Unfortunately, yes, this is a hardware issue.


If your Mac model is on this list, Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty - Apple Support, it most likely cannot be repaired, unfortunately. It would be best to look for a new Mac: Mac - Apple.


If it is not on the vintage and obsolete list, you can contact Apple here: Get Support.
