WatchOS 9 update is stuck on paused
My Apple Watch update to watchOS 9 is paused and says will resume when connected to WiFi, but I’m already connected to WiFi. What do I need to do?

If you've already tried a restart since connecting to Wi-Fi and a charger, but the issue still remains, then we recommend trying all of the steps listed under 'If you need help updating' here: Update your Apple Watch
1. Make sure that your Apple Watch connects to its charger.
2. Restart your Apple Watch. Press and hold the side button until you see Power Off, then drag the slider. To turn your watch on again, press and hold the side button.
3. Restart your paired iPhone.
4. Try to start the update again.
