Apple TV in living room turns off when another Apple TV 4K in bedroom is turned off

I replaced an old Apple TV 3rd Gen with a 4K. Nephew's have discovered they can turn off the Apple TV 4 in the living room using the voice button on the remote. When doing this it turns off my TV as well. It occurred several times before discovering that it could be the voice command turning both off.

Both are logged into my account for use with streaming service subscription. Anyone else encountering this? Some of you have multiple Apple TVs on their network? Do you use the same log in or do you create separate accounts?

Thanks

Before resetting I checked Home app. The living room apple TV used to be in my bedroom and marked as such. So I changed the name and it’s location in the Home app and now the TV no longer shuts off when my nephews use Siri to shut off the apple TV/TV.

Seems that was the cause and the fix.

The Apple TV box can turn off (set to standby) the TV to which it is connected, not other Apple TV boxes or TVs.

The Siri Remote is functional with the Apple TV box to which it is paired. Not other devices.

You shouldn’t (have to) use multiple accounts for multiple Apple TVs — unless you have good reason for that, like distinctly different primary users.
