My iPhone 14 pro is extremely slow at focusing when I open the selfie camera. It takes a long time before is shows clear/focuses (the front camera). What to do? I hate this.

I just got my brand new iPhone 14 Pro and realized right away there was an issue focusing on objects up close, both on native camera and with 3rd party Apps. Upon further investigation, I adjusted the Macro settings in the Camera Settings. That saved the issue in the native Camera app, but NOT in third party apps, for example Marriott's Bonvoy App - scanning a credit card into your payment settings is now IMPOSSIBLE. Same goes for other apps that allow you to photograph your credit card in order not to have to enter it manually. When and how will this be addressed? Does anyone have another fix?
