AirPod Pro 2, volume or Eq shifts mid song

Generally, really enjoying the improved sound quality on these new AirPod Pro 2, but having a weird issue. I turn off spatial audio and Dolby, so just using Apple Music in lossless stereo with noise cancellation.

Problem is that mid song I get a shift in audio, I can’t tell exactly if it’s a shift in volume or eq but it’s quite noticeable and distracting, really takes you out of the song. Anyone else had this? It doesn’t happen during every song but enough for me to consider sending back to Apple, which is a shame!
