The "Search" function in Hotmail recently stopped working, and I cannot search for emails using the Search box at the top of the page. When I type something into the box and hit Enter, nothing happens. This is occurring only in Safari. If I use Microsoft Edge (which I prefer not to) then the Search function works just fine. The same problem occurs on my iMac and on my 2017 MacBook (both running (Mac OS Monterey 12.6).

Same problem here. Search function in Hotmail/Outlook is inoperable when using Safari. But only on one of my Outlook accounts. The other is fine.
I'm also on Monterey 12.6.
Investigating nuking the plist files, so will let you know if that makes any difference, but assume it's more specific problem due to one of my accounts working and the other not. :/
I have the same issue - also Monterrey 12.6 - search works fine on Google chrome browser- just a safari thing as far as I can tell
Yes, if that works, tell me how to do it. Otherwise I guess we have to wait for other suggestions or for a Safari update fix.
