Boot Camp Error During Partitioning

Dear Apple Community,

I have an Intel-based iMac with the latest software updates running Monterey. I followed the Boot Camp instructions step-by-step to install Windows 11, however ran into the below error. I then followed the instructions on how to resolve the error (running First Aid), which failed. Now I am stuck at the step where it recommends to delete the partition (per the link below), but my free partition size is wrong (see screenshot, partition should be around 400 GB free, not almost 1 TB free - I have a 1 TB Fusion Drive). Any advice please? Is it safe to delete the free partition despite it reporting an incorrect size?

First, back up your computer (if you haven't already). This is important- when messing with partitions, anything could happen. The easiest way to resolve this, if you can't do so in Disk Utility, is to backup, erase, and restore.

Tried and did not work :-/ ... getting this error no matter what revised size I provide for the new partition (900 GB, 1.03 TB, 1 TB etc.). Also see in the screenshot (left) my drive volumes etc. - looks like it's not right (why so many), something wrong, no? Maybe I should post that in the iMac discussion group ... or just cave and do an erase-restore :-/
