My husband and I want to buy 2 new iphones, we will need someone from the store to transfer our data over from old iphones to new iphones and get us up and running before we leave the store. Is this possible?

To answer your question, in my experience, they will backup your old phones and start the data transfer at the Apple store. You may have to finish setting up at home or whenever you have access to a WiFi network, if you leave the store before all of your apps and data are transferred.
My experience occurred before th pandemic, but I assume Apple is doing this again. You can always call the store and ask.

I don’t think you understand or maybe I’m not making myself clear. I do not work for Apple. This community is comprised of other Apple product users and Apple employees have a very limited role here.
If you want clarification call the store that you plan on buying from and ask them to be sure.
