Apple watch
My alert volumes button is greyed out in sound and haptics in my watch app. I need to hear the sound to find my watch. Thank you! Linda

When is last time it worked?
First try resetting the watch and that helps sometimes;
- Depress and hold the crown and side button until the Apple logo appears. Nothing is lost
Next would be to unpair the watch and re setup the watch. Sometimes setting up as new works better than restoring from backup
If still problem as setting up as new that would indicate a hardware problem.
