An app I use has excessively loud sounds that I can't seem to silence.
Going to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and turning the volume all the way down doesn't help. Neither does turning on Silent Mode.

No, it isn't an official Apple app. But I don't see why this would matter. On iPhone, I can adjust the volume no matter what app I'm using.
Can't mute in-app sounds on Apple Watch.
