Contacts Accounts List Question

I run both a 2014 Mac mini and a 2020 MacBook Pro M1. Both are running Monterey 12.6.

When I look at the Accounts list in Contacts there is a difference between the listing on the mini and the MacBook Pro. Just curious as to why the difference. If I try to add either Yahoo or Google on the mini, a window pops up stating that the account is already active. Again, just curious.

Thanks, tried that, nothing changed.

This all came to light because I was curious as to why some contacts showed up in my email client (Postbox, which is tied into both my Yahoo and Google mail accounts) but not on my iPhone. Started poking around and made the discovery that in the System Preferences “Internet Accounts” location, neither the Yahoo nor Google accounts were listed. Added them both and then cleaned up whatever duplicates there were. I now have exactly the same number of contacts on my iPhone as I do on the 2014 Mac mini, as I do on the 2020 MacBook Pro M1. So, not really experiencing any issues or data loss, just a simple curiosity.

I ended up putting all my contacts into iCloud during the cleanup process, maybe I’ll try taking a few contacts out of iCloud and put them into the Yahoo and Google accounts and see if that changes anything.

Thanks for trying to help, and yes, all settings are identical on both machines. Seeing how there is no data loss or error issues, I decided to just disconnect both Google and Yahoo from Internet Accounts. My email client is connected to both, and I normally transfer any "Collected Addresses" as Postbox calls them, to my iCloud account anyway, so all my devices are in sync as far as Contacts are concerned. I'll just mark this as one of those "annoying to those of us who tend to be a bit OCD" and let it go at that.
