How to disable the window permission request to close a file, when I am closing a file on mac?
Every time I close a file, opens up a window asking to confirm that I want to close the file. How to disable this please?

text files, image file, excel file... any kind of file one can modify and save; saved to any location in hard drive
pops up a window saying: would you like would you like to save the changes of this file?
instead of closing directly when clicking the red dot
there is an unnecessary window popping up asking for permission
I just formated macOs and at some point in the installing process asked if i wanted to be asked for permission before closing files and I said yes. usually when you close and save a file you just hit the red dot and thats it. How to reverse that to no permission question window?
What kind of file(s)?
Where are you saving them to exactly?
Oh, so you don't want to save them?
Did you maybe enable FileVault encrypted volume??
So, have you changed the file in some way & don't wish to save it?
