disappearing boarding pass and tickets apple wallet

I downloaded American Airlines boarding pass to Apple Wallet, confirmed they were in my wallet, and the next day they were gone. Similarly, I downloaded 15 different games of a pair of season tickets for local college sports teams to Apple Wallet, confirmed that they were there, and a few days later they were gone. I redownloaded the first game only pair of tickets and checked again and they were gone 2 days later. These missing passes are not in my expired passes list. What’s going on?

We agree that this is unexpected behavior, and while you may need to reach out to Apple Support for further troubleshooting, let's rule out some possible causes:

We see you have an iPhone 14 Pro, and congrats on getting it! The latest version for it would be iOS 16.0.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
Just in case you're using another app to add them to Wallet, we recommend making sure that all apps are up to date: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.
If they're still missing, and if you add those tickets and the boarding pass that went missing back to Wallet, does the same issue occur later with them disappearing?

Hi,

I am running the latest OS 16.0.2 and restarted the phone too. The same problem is occurring, and it isn’t specific to a particular ticket. Yesterday I put 4 tickets in my wallet to a sporting event for Sat night and 2 tickets to a different sporting event for 10/15. All 6 tickets have disappeared this morning. But there are things in my wallet that are not disappearing such as my Massachusetts digital vaccination card and a card for discounts at a regional grocery store.

Any help in resolving this would be much appreciated. Thank you.
