If your Mac is "frozen" and completely unresponsive, you can force it to shut down by pressing and holding its power button / Touch ID button until it shuts down. That takes perhaps five or ten seconds.

Then, start it again in the usual manner.

But it didn't specify how to optimize my Mac. Am I supposed to take additional steps after the OS 13.4 installation? I have optimize battery charging turned on....
