Apple Notes disappeared (05 Nov 2024) I recently accepted the latest Apple T&Cs, after which, all my Notes disappeared. I’d be surprised if they were linked, but nothing else had changed (no deletions/sign ins etc). Any ideas? Since then some older ones have returned, but none linked to the cloud.

Notes disappeared after updating to iOS 18.1.1 many (not all) of my current notes have disappeared from my gmail notes account after this update was installed. I can only see old notes pre 2021. I have tried re-logging in using my iCloud email address with no success. How can I access mt notes from 2024?

Where were the Notes? See the pic below. You will get your answer

The recently deleted folder will exist only if you deleted Notes from iCloud or from the "On My Phone" Folder. Deletion from other Folders does not use Recently Deleted Sub-Folder.
