What deleted the forwarding of my 2 emails?

Hello, my icloud email was an alias of another email being the identifier of my icloud account. I change their roles. One becomes an identifier, the other an alias. Then I no longer have the forward between the two addresses. Before my icloud email (...icloud.com) was linked to my main email (icloud) so that every time I sent an email to the icloud I received it on the email of the icloud account identifier. All on macbook and in the MAIL application. Do you know where the cancellation of the rule comes from? (I didn't know where the rule came from either)

It sounds like you've made some changes with your @iCloud.com email, and related aliases, and now you're having issues with the Mail app. We can help.

If you created one or more email aliases for your account, be aware of the following:

- You can change or delete an email alias, but if you delete an @mac.com or @me.com email alias, you can't add it back to your iCloud account.

- You can't sign in to iCloud.com with an email alias. Sign in with your @icloud.com email address or the Apple ID that you use with your iCloud account.
