No wrist temperature data

I’ve followed these instructions to set up wrist temperature but as yet after over a week, nothing recorded. Says five more days needed. Sleep etc has been set up and working fully. Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

Do I was having the same issue… sleep cycle was set, privacy settings set and turned on for wrist temperature, and I had been wearing the watch for three weeks and it still said no data. Then I hit settings on the watch, just now, and scrolled down until I saw sleep and it said… turn on at bedtime, and it was toggled off, so I toggled it on… so give that a try. I still haven’t seen if it collects my data, but set up never mentioned this…

Hey blackbun,

According to Track your sleep on Apple Watch and use Sleep on iPhone - Apple Support, it states that to receive full data "sleep tracking must be enabled for at least 4 hours each night." We suggest using the Apple Watch for those 5 more days and make sure that it is enabled 4 hours each night. Let us know if that shows the appropriate data after that.

Cheers.

I have an8 series watch. I’ve had it since Oct. I sleep with the watch on every night, the sleep tracking works perfectly and so does another sleep app I have. The temp has never worked. I recently got the 14 Pro and thought maybe that would fix it. Nope. Oxygen works great as well. I’ve done all the steps suggested. Privacy settings, making sure everything was enabled. It’s is and was. I’m seeing a lot of users are having this issue. Is it a bug fix? Or a defect with the watch? I’m getting really frustrated with it. It was one of the main reasons I upgraded my watch.

Hi everyone, I’ve no idea really what I stumbled across in this Chinese puzzle. Thought Apple was all about intuition in use.

It records now but unfortunately blanks the watch screen at night so I can’t just glance at my wrist for the time if I wake briefly. That’s another story!

Works fine, mind you my cough, sore throat and achy legs told me I had covid two days before the watch indicated an issue.
