How to change the 24-hour clock to a 12-hour

I was a macOS Catalina user, but now I change to Monterey, and I have a little problem. I have disabled the option "Use 24-hour clock" but don't changes anything, how I fix this? please

How to set the time zone? I took a trip and the MacBook shows the wrong time. How do I change it? If I click the date-time in upper right corner the widgets come out, it doesn't have time options like it used to. I went to Date and Time preferences but there is no setting for the time zone like it used to have. Even the Closest City menu only shows locations in the wrong time zone. I tried "Automatically" and "using current location" but it doesn't do anything. All I want to do is change my time zone from Pacific to Mountain.

Sonoma 14.5.1 24-hour time format not displayed in MacBook Air (M3, 2024) On MacBook Air (M3, 2024), in OS Sonoma (v14.5.1), my preferred 24-hour time format settings - while correctly shown in the Date & Time section of Settings, is neither shown nor my settings respected at MacBook Air’s pre-login time display nor in the MacBook Air’s menu bar after login. Only the 12-hour time format is shown/displayed. Safe mode attempts to fix this problem have failed. 😑 Please fix this. Thanks!

can't change mac os settings the timezone of my mac Monterey 12.5 timezone is set to New York which is totally different from my current time and location. the strange thing about it is that I can't change my timezone. also, the touchID is deactivated so I have to keep entering the password. for example, I have to use the password for installing applications instead of touchID. once I fixed these problems by reinstalling the operating system and it fixed for a while but again has these issues. the strange thing is that I don't see any error message from the operating system. does anyone know where is the problem and how can I fix it? if the problem is serious, does the app store support it for free? thanks in advance.

The option in System Preferences->Language & Region->Time Format->24-Hour Time should control that.
