Sonoma 14.5.1 24-hour time format not displayed in MacBook Air (M3, 2024)

On MacBook Air (M3, 2024), in OS Sonoma (v14.5.1), my preferred 24-hour time format settings - while correctly shown in the Date & Time section of Settings, is neither shown nor my settings respected at MacBook Air’s pre-login time display nor in the MacBook Air’s menu bar after login. Only the 12-hour time format is shown/displayed. Safe mode attempts to fix this problem have failed. 😑 Please fix this. Thanks!

Opposite problem here. Latest update switched me to the 24-hr clock and it refused to be re-set.

Fixed by turning off automatic time setting, and manually setting the time. Then went back and re-enabled automatic setting.

I'm guessing this would also work if you were stuck in 12-hour mode and wanted 24-hour.
