Any one have Apple TV 4K & HDMI problems cutting off our stereo receiver?

Whenever I turn on my Apple TV 4K, our Pioneer Elite receiver shuts off. Sometimes it connects via HDMI but most times it says HDMI Passthru and powers off. Never had these problems until recently September 2022. Getting really tired of the Apple TV.

Receivers turn on after turning off all devices by Apple TV 4k I saw that it happens with several devices. In my case is a Marantz Receiver. When I hold the apple tv remote power off button to turn off all devices it works instantly and then 2 o 3 seconds after, when apple tv led stop blinking and it actually turns off, my receiver turns on again. It is like in that specific moment apple tv sends another hdmi-cec command. Is annoying and seems to be an apple tv bug. I saw that it happened before to several users and now started again. For me it started suddenly one day without any explanation. Do you know how could I fix this?? Thank you

apple tv audio on main speakers stops Today, my Apple TV 4K stopped playing audio to the main tv output. Audio to home pods still works. Then with no intervention it sometimes would start up for a while and then shut down. A software update was installed overnight and this is the first time that I used it after the update.

Apple TV no longer controlling TV My Apple TV is no longer turning on my Sony Bravia after having worked perfectly for a long time. It seems to have happened in the last 24 hours. The ‘Control TVs and AV Receivers’ option is stuck on ‘Off’. I have power-cycled (on units and from the wall), replugged all connections, ensured HDMI-CEC is enabled on my Bravia, reset WIFI, and even re-paired the remote. The software is up to date: ‘tvOS 18.3.1 [22K561]’. Might there be a bug in the latest release?

I don’t recognize that for my Pioneer receiver. Try completely shutting down all HDMI devices (disconnect from power for a short while), and then starting up again. Does that improve the CEC responsiveness?
