windows ALT analogue on MAC for MS excel

hi, is there any analogue for ALT on MAC for MS excel? or maybe there is a way to active it? the point is that, I use ALT as the gateway for almost every shortcut in MS excel, however there is no button of MAC which gives me the same functionality. yes, there are some shortcuts which do some stuff but not the exact analogue for what ALT is doing on windows computers.

for example, when I press ALT on windows computer there appear letters on functional part of Excel - e.g. if you press ALT+ H + FS it will let you edit the font size of the cell you have chosen, and ALT is opening this kind of shortcuts for every function that Excel can do. however there is nothing similar on MAC. can you support me with it?
