AirPod Pro’s and Apple ID

So I recently had to delete my old Apple ID account which my devices were connected to, and then create a new one. My watch is fine, however my AirPods keep saying that they’re still connected to the deleted Apple ID account… is there any way to fix this?

"AirPod Pro’s and Apple ID: That doesn’t help at all. As I have mentioned, the previous Apple ID had to be deleted."

Reset These or Contact Apple Support:

So, if resetting your AirPods does not work, then contact Apple Support, and ask them to change the closed account's devices' associations. If you can't disassociate if from your closed Apple Account, then ere may be nothing you can do about it. Its the same ordeal as purchasing it from someone else who has their own Apple ID --they are different accounts.

Apple Support Contact Us Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as Necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
