I now have access to my sim card - should I cancel my account recovery? I lost my phone while on holiday and could not initially sign in to my Apple ID because I didn't know the password - so I have requested an account recovery. When I found my password, it still wouldn't work - I am assuming because I requested the account recovery, but I also realised I couldn't do two-factor authentication, so I didn't bother to cancel it. I have the new sim with my old phone number, which is connected to my account - should I cancel the account recovery, or will I still be unable to get into my account? The issue is I have had no update on the recovery, and my apple id contains my passwords for everything, it said it would take several days, but that isn't helpful because I have no idea whether it is worth cancelling it only to have to start all over again.

I need my phone number removed from other device I don’t have access too now reset settings on them devices controlling my SIM card I need my device phone number back active n it’s not letting me saying my SIM card cant be added to my trusted list for contact because it’s already linked to another device. How when my SIM card only have one damn device which is iPhone SE my phone number is being hacked n used on a Mac or ox device or Mac sierra I need it removed now. The "SIM" in your phone will only receive 2FA SMS texts sent to your Trusted Numbers ... something which requires knowledge of your AppleID password.

You can edit and remove that number from your Trusted Numbers at https://appleid.apple.com/
