Where are you seeing this message? Chances are that it is a scam attempting to get you to provide personal information or to lure you to purchasing useless software.
As you may not be aware, SMS text messages are NOT secure. Whether or not, the Verizon security app can determine if your SMS texting is being monitored, I can't tell you for sure. I would suggest that you contact them as this type of texting is a service they provide.

Yeah, there's no way that app could tell you that even in the highly unlikely event that it was actually happening.
Perhaps if you explain what you're seeing that makes you think something is wrong, people can give you some guidance.
