AirPods Pro 2 not connecting

I bought the AirPods Pro 2 yesterday and they worked fine apart from the right AirPod disconnecting a couple times. However, today i realised that the right AirPod’s battery was draining at twice the speed of the left one. When the right AirPod disconnected one more time, I removed the Airpods from my Apple ID but when I tried to reconnect they wont. I have done everything from restarting my iPhone to resetting the AirPods and charging them for a while but they won’t work. I got these engraved so would Apple replace this pair for me? Apologies for the long question.

Hello kg1511,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, you disconnected your AirPods from your Apple ID and now they won't reconnect to your AirPods. We want to help!

Let's try resetting your AirPods and then try connecting to your Apple ID again.

Put your AirPods in their charging case, and close the lid.
Wait 30 seconds.
Open the lid of your charging case.
With your AirPods in your ears and connected to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Bluetooth, or Settings > [your AirPods], and tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods. If you don't see your AirPods in Settings > Bluetooth or in Settings > [your AirPods], just go to the next step.
Tap Forget This Device, and tap again to confirm.
With the lid open, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white.*
