Apple Music sync library won’t stay on (iOS)

Hey! So my Apple Music library wasn’t updating on my iPhone, so I turned off sync library, but when I turned it on again, I waited a few seconds and it turned itself off.

When I go into the Apple Music app itself and click the big red “Turn on” button for sync library, the same thing happens. It loads for a few seconds, then shows the sync button again.

I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it:

• Deleted and reinstalled the music app

• Updated to the latest iOS and MacOS

• Used cellular data and different wifi

• Signed out of iCloud and back in

and as a last resort…

• Backed up phone, factory reset, and restored

I haven’t been able to listen to my library on my phone for about a week. I’d appreciate any help at all. Thank you!

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Media and Purchases, sign out and sign back in. If that doesn't help try Get Support, top right on this page. Another option would be to do a factory reset and not restore from a backup and see if that works.
