why canon printer g1010 series could not printed in my MacBook Air 2020 mcos Monterey ver 12.5.1?

At least according to the specifications at https://asia.canon/en/consumer/pixma-g1010/specification , Mac OS is not supported. Also, G1010 drivers for Mac are not available at https://asia.canon/en/support/PIXMA%20G1000/model .


There is a macOS 12 driver for a G1000, but I have no idea whether it can be used for other models.
