Hi Cynzroom.

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Wondering if you can hear other sounds ok, like Voice memos, videos etc.

You could try restarting your iPhone, which sometimes restores normality.

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Also check settings : Settings > Sound

Also check : "Do Not Disturb" is not on

Use Do Not Disturb with Focus on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You might want to try updating to a newer iOS to see if that makes a difference

eg: iOS 15.5 is compatible with iPhone 6s Plus (but iOS 16 is not compatible)

iPhone models compatible with iOS 15.5 – Apple Support

To update your iPhone to the latest iOS software compatible with your model, go to Settings  > General > Software

Apple Support have a few articles online that may help troubleshoot:

And: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

Also check notification settings : Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you have these settings: Adjust the mono audio, balance, and phone noise cancellation settings on iPhone – Apple Support
