Ipad iOS 15.7 won’t sleep since update 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just did update 15.7 (automatic) on my iPad Pro (9.7”) and since the update it won’t goto sleep mode.

I’ve checked sleep and it should shut screen off after 2 min of inactivity 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️.

Am I missing something? This is a real power killer when every notification wakes it up after I manual turn screen off… once notifications turn screen on it doesn’t turn off on its own I have to manually do it 🤬🤦🏻‍♀️

If you are experiencing any performance issues or unexpected behaviour after performing a system software update - you should try a forced-restart of your iPad as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
