Had random voices coming over my speakers while on a website ... like something out of THE EXORCIST. I was placing an order online website at the time. Now I'm wondering if my MacBook Pro has been attacked by malware. Or Spyware? So far nothing operates any differently.

I wholeheartedly agree with what etresoft stated. Also, there are many nefarious-sounding parts of the OS that will cause you untold consternation if you start poking around looking for things.

It was probably just an ad on some forgotten tab. Don't worry about. If you try to search for some software to "protect" yourself, all you are likely to find are scams.
