Why Xcode simulator download or Icloud uploads wont tolerate disconnection?

I have little internet problem at area where i resides. Internet keeps disconnecting or some times become unavailable. But idk we're living in 2022 but downloads on macOS still not able to tolerate disconnection or wait for internet connection? how complex is that? Whether I'm uploading a video on iCloud or whether I'm downloading iOS simulator of any file like 5gb 4gb. MacOS wont cater if my internet got disconnected. despite of the progress (maybe 90% downloaded).

MacBook Pro 15″, 12.6

Hey junayd95,

From what we understand, when your network disconnects, the data thats downloading or upload stops.

Since both processes require internet connection, if it disconnects, so will any internet related processes on the Mac. This is because there's no internet connection. The internet is needed to download and upload data.

Since the issue is with the internet disconnecting, we suggest following the steps here: If your Mac isn't connecting to the internet over Wi-Fi. Although the article says not connecting, it has great steps that may help you with disconnects as well.

Best wishes.
