Hi Marsha11_,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your notifications after updating your iPhone. We'd like to help.

Since you're unable to clear that notification as expected, we'd like to see how things go when you do some basic troubleshooting of your device.

Have you restarted your iPhone yet? Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn't work, go ahead and force restart your device: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

Force restart iPhone

If iPhone isn’t responding, and you can’t turn it off then on, try forcing it to restart.

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

Let us know if these steps help and we'll go from there.

Cheers!
