How do I keep Do Not Disturb private?

On my iPhone 12 and 13 I was able to put my iPhone on DoNotDisturb and it did not notify everyone who sent me a text message that DND was on. Now with the iPhone 14pro it does that.

I can't find any setting to change it except to turn DND off.

Is there a way to do that with iOS 16 and iPhone 14 pro?

Share your Focus status

Go to Settings > Focus.
Tap Focus Status.
Turn OFF Share Focus Status.
Select which Focus options can share that you have notifications silenced.
