I forget my Apple ID password

I bought I phone 12 from apple i phone counter in Linn Shop in Myanmar in 2020.

the shop set itself Apple ID password without asking me. But they told me here is my Apple ID password, don’t change password if I change, they don’t take any responsibility about losing phone. So I’m afraid and I don’t change . But I can’t remember Apple ID password now so I tell the shop how should I do. They said they can’t afford my problem. Now I am facing the problem of forgetting ID password . What should I do? I have a proof I am the buyer of this phone and I have so many evidences about I am the owner. Please help me 🥺

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.

If you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, if you can't recover the password using the steps above, you will need to use Account Recovery. The Recovery Process is an automated process and the length of time it takes can vary a lot. Apple ID Support can only answer your questions. They can't intervene in or speed up the process. The article below has some suggestions to shorten the time the process takes.

If you have changed your password, have you followed the steps in this article on all devices/computers? 


What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support.  *


If necessary, if you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork to include the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it. 


Request additional support for unlocking your device.    -
